Marc finally found himself a new car. It took us a while because of the small market in our town and because I usually wasn't well enough to look at cars. Finally, he just went and found what he wanted and brought it home last Saturday on a test drive. It's a used Volvo S60, very sporty with leather seats and all the extras. He had a hard time stepping down from his 'manly' truck, to just a car but this one totally fits the bill. Great gas mileage too. He picked it up Tuesday morning and I'm so happy to have full access to my own vehicle again.

Yay for you! We've been doing the one-car family thing for about 18 months now and I'm torn between annoyance and joy. Annoyed because once in a while I have to beg rides off my friends and joyful because we are saving serious cashola in this crazy gas market. Anyway, I'm jealous of the Volvo--I've always wanted one! Congrats!
Ya, when we had Myah, we no longer had enough seats in our car. So Derrick was determined to pick me up from the hospital with a new (bigger) car. Trying to buy a car in a day in Vegas is not exactly a great idea. His heart was in the right place, but I really didn't care what we drove home in. Sweet husbands. kelli
