How To Choose a Movie

Marc was out of town the last few days at a convention in Washington D.C. He spent a day skiing at Snowbird in Utah which just seems crazy at this time of year. He really enjoyed himself. I realised how lucky I am to have him here to take care of us. We sure did miss his good meals and story reading at bedtime. We were happy to see him return home. He takes such good care of us all and is always ready and willing to take care of my needs while I'm sick.

So, tonight was the Jazz Game, not something I'm particularly fond of. In order to keep us both happy Marc always gets me a movie or two that I can watch in bed on my laptop so he can enjoy the evening watching the Jazz.

Before the game, Marc headed down to the video store to get me a movie. I always try to give him a few suggestions. This time I mentioned The Golden Compass or Martian Child (thanks mum for the suggestions). When he returned he told me that neither movie was in stock. I thought his next comment was classic. He said, "So I looked around the videos and thought to myself, which movie would I totally hate to watch? And that's the one I picked for you." Needless to say I was extremely happy with his choice of "27 Dresses" and "No Reservations". I love his new way of picking movies for me. From now on I know he'll never go wrong.
