Marc rented a sander last Friday and spent all of that afternoon/evening and all of Saturday sanding our wood floors in the kitchen. He ended up having to put the first coat of stain on when it was dark so when we woke up the next day there was a slight line in the floor where he had stopped and re-started. Needless to say he was a little frustrated, but overall I think it looks wonderful. It definately needed a good sanding and coat of stain. There was seriously so much dust it carried over into the living room and office. You can see from the pictures how much dust was created. That was fun to clean up.
