Here are some snapsots of our final vacation before the kids headed back to school. Every year around this time we have our annual cousin camp which we started when Kenadee was a baby. It is a tradition that we always look forward to. This year we went to Island Park with Marc's family which consists of a total of about 12 adults and 17 children. We stayed in a great cabin with 3 levels and a total of 9 bedrooms. One of our favorite pastimes was the game ROCKBAND that we played on the wii. As you can see from the pictures there were plenty of rockstars in our cabin that weekend. We had a lot of fun playing games, doing puzzles and hanging out.
We spent one day at the river playing in the freezing cold water. We were supposed to do a river float but all the rafts were rented so we improvised. Another day we spent at Yellowstone. I'm waiting to get more pictures from that day. We spent about 8 hours in the car that day and I was impressed that Bailee made it through except for the last hour when she had just had enough of her car seat.
We also did some fun crafts including a tie die t-shirt and some awesome mad hatter hats that G'ma did with the children. I can't wait to post the picture of that one. Overall it was an awesome experience and a great end of summer vacation. It is so nice to be a part of such a wonderful and large family. The memories are priceless.

OK, I want to be like your mum and Marc's when I grow up. They are the best grandma's ever. What a fun time you must have had in Island Park. (And I loved the slide show)

Did you see that comment on my blog about our reunion that "it was just like Dan in Real Life"? Only you would think that is as funny as I did! Hey - would you mind sending me the pictures of me with Conner and Clara on the couch, and me singing rock star? That is too ridiculous not to post on my blog!
