We had Bailee's baby blessing last week. I'm late in posting because I was going to take pictures of her after the blessing but we got too busy and I haven't been able to get her in her dress to take a picture. After most of the family had left my sister Christina was holding her and working on a smile. This is how she looked when she began.
And it didn't take more than a few minutes for her to get her to smile. Kudos to my mum for catching the smile on camera. Marc was so happy that she had finally smiled but couldn't believe that she did it for Christina and not for him. He said that he had been working on her for the past 4 weeks. He said that Christina is just prettier than him!!

This is the one picture I got of Bailee in her dress (with her grandma's). My mum made the blessing dress 10 years ago for Kenadee. The amazing thing is that she hadn't ever sewn and she didn't use a pattern. I wish you could see it up close because it is so well made. Her grandmother was a professional dressmaker so I think she must have inherited some skills. All 3 of our girls have worn the dress and bonnet for their blessings.
