Kenadee turned 11 this past week (November 12th). This is the youngest picture I have of her that is on the computer. The rest were all taken during the time of 'film' cameras. I LOVE this picture because she decided all by herself to put lipstick on for her very important 'softball' picture. I didn't notice until we got the pictures back.
Nana and G-Pa came up on Sunday to watch the children in their primary program at The University Ward. They are 3/4 of the primary so it was fun to work with them and help them create a program. They did wonderful. Nana and G-Pa stayed through Monday which was fun to have them hang out. They took Kenadee out to lunch and then to choose her present. We always enjoy having them come and visit.
On Wednesday we celebrated her birthday with presents and cake. She is so into the Twilight series right now. She got a movie companion book, poster and Edward T-shirt. She chose to eat out at Wingers where she got her very own asphalt pie. On Thursday she had a late night/sleepover with 10 of her girlfriends (only 5 spent the night). This was her first AND LAST sleepover. We actually don't do sleepovers but decided this might be her last b-day here before we moved so why not!? I'll tell you why not......4am!!!! I was woken up with a loud door banging in the basement. When I went to investigate there were 5 giggling girls running to the bathroom, all lights were on and I discovered they had not yet been to sleep. I was NOT happy. I think the main problem was the little 10 year old girl with her cell phone who was texting, even after I turned the lights out. We put an end to that immediately. Overall, it was a nice party though! Yawn......
On Friday it was Marc's birthday. His parents came up for the day and we had fun taking them to our itty bitty Pocatello mall. We left the kids at home and ate dinner at Texas Roadhouse before they headed home. On Saturday a couple of the students from the ward wanted to babysit the kids so I took Marc out to movies to see James Bond for his birthday. Marc is such a great dad. He always seems to get overlooked with Kenadee's b-day being just 2 days before.
