Weekend with Nana and Grandad

Thank Heavens for Grandparents! This weekend Nana and Grandad came to visit. Its always nice to have someone come up to our neck of the woods. I wasn't feeling particulary well (whats new!?) so they came to take the children out. Nana never visits without an adventurous plan and lots of accessories. This trip she brought a tent that we set up in the basement. The kids had water canteens, flashlights, camping socks and even an emergency blanket! After we took Mum for a belated birthday dinner (we took dad too) we came home and made microwave smores. Perfect! Then the kids settled down to a 'tent' movie while mum and I watched a few 'flip that house' episodes.
