Welcome Home!!

I've spent the better portion of my week sick in bed or on the couch. So much for 'morning' sickness. I've gone through plenty of books and it seems I'm in need of more. I had some great company this week while Marc was out of town in California (I'll tell you more in a future post). For now I'm just so glad to have Marc home to take care of us and let the kids feel that there is a real parent around. So I'm going to answer the 'husband' questions because I'm SO glad he's home.


1. What is his name? Marc Andrew Collings

2. How long have you been together? Married 15 years, together 16 years
3.Who eats more? Usually Marc, although he doesn't eat that much, but at the current moment its definately me, eating every 20 minutes to try to curb the nauseau!
4. Who said I love you first? Marc did. He was so serious and nervous that I burst into tears because I thought he was breaking up with me:)
5. Who is taller? Marc
6. Who sings better? Me, but he is actually a great singer when he's sitting next to someone who can carry the tune.
7. Who is smarter? Book Smart, definately Marc. Street Smart, probably me. He's a very logical, big picture thinker and I'm a very fast, on the spot thinker!
8. Who does the laundry? Usually me, but since Christmas, Marc. He's our new Mr. Mom!!!
9. Who does the dishes? Was me, now Marc.
10. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Marc. I always get the side closest to the door for when kids wake up.
11. Who pays the bills? Me
12. Who mows the lawn? Marc. If I ever give it a shot he tries his best to compliment me but I know it doesn't look like it should.
13. Who cooks dinner? Usually me but recently Marc, although we've been lucky enough to have meals brought to us by our awesome neighbors.
14. Who drives when you are together? Marc
15. Who is more stubborn? I don't think either of us, but if I had to choose I'd say me.
16.Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? Marc
17. Whose parents do you see the most? We try to see them both equally as they live next door to each other and we only go to Utah every once in a while.
18. Who kissed whom first? Marc kissed me at the university after telling me about the 'love' beads that he and his friends were collecting. For each girl kissed he got a bead LOL
19. Who proposed? Marc, in the most creative and romantic way ever. He enlisted all of his friends to help as they lead me on a secret trail of love giving me clues to the top which is where he and my BFF was waiting. I love his creativity.
20. Who is more sensitive? Me
21. Who has more friends? Me, although Marc is a great friend, he is honestly satisfied to just be by himself fishing or reading etc.
22. Who has more siblings? Marc has 7 boys in his family, I have 3 girls, hence, the answer to who is the most sensitive. When we got married and I cried for the first time I thought he was going to pass out:)
23. Who wears the pants in the family? That's an interesting question, Marc would like to think he does and ultimately I support him on his decisions but I think I do in the day to day things.
