Easter Weekend Fun

This weekend I was lucky enough to leave the boredom of my 4 walls in my bedroom and head down to Utah for a family weekend. On Saturday we spent some time with a few of Marc's siblings and their awesome families. We couldn't make it to the real egg hunt next Saturday and a few of the others couldn't make it this weekend, so they were kind enough to do a 'mock' egg hunt with the cousins who could make it. That way, our kids didn't think they had missed out. It was a lot of fun and nice to visit with everyone that we haven't seen since before Christmas!

On Sunday my family had a yummy dinner and Easter egg hunt, after my nephew, Josh, was ordained an Elder in the Melchezedik Priesthood. Marc had to fly out to Chicago so he missed out on all the fun. Josh will graduate this June and is preparing to leave for a mission in October. He is such a great kid. My sister and husband have such amazing children. It was fun to hang out with them all for the day!

On Monday while we waited for Marc to fly back home from Chicago the kids and I went to the Tree House Museum with my sister, Christina. It was SO much fun. Jake said, You know Mom, Pocatello isn't a very good place for kids! , meaning that we don't have anything that fun in Pokie. Which is true! They stayed and played for a good three hours. That night while we waited for Marc's flight and while I wasn't feeling too well my mum took the kids to buy 'green' food for St. Patty's day and on a late afternoon hike. Nana always finds something different and exciting for the kids to do. Of course they came home a little wet and grubby after they paddled in a stream but the first thing they said was, Mom, it was SO much fun! So, thats all that counts. It was a weekend of family, fun and for the kids; cousins, cousins, cousins!! (I don't have pics because my camera battery died:(

That was a fun Saturday wasn't it? Sorry but I didn't get any pictures. I took one of Clara and one of Chloe and then it died. And they weren't even that good of pictures!

I'm so sorry we missed you while you were in town. I'm glad you guys still got to have Easter with Grandma Collings. Your mom does such a great job with your kids, how sweet.
