Tomorrow night Kenadee is receiving a special prize for winning 1st place in a poetry contest. The Bannock Humane Society had a poetry competition about pets. Thank goodness we now have a dog! All of the 4th grade students in the Pocatello school district were required to submit a poem. Here is Kenadee's (and also a picture of our recently groomed dog). Its funny what a complete shaving will do to a dog. Marc thinks he looks a little 'weasly' but we still love him just the same. Fortunately his long, curly locks will grow back.
SHAKESPEARE

His name is Shakespeare, but he never wrote a play.
In fact, he pretty much just lay’s around all day.
Romeo and Juliet, he never knew,
But he comforts me when I catch the flu.
England he’s never been to, Idaho is his home
That’s where he chews his bone.
Shakespeare is my dog, you see
He’s as playful as can be.
He protects me in the dark
The master of the English bark

Wow, great poem Kena! I'm really impressed. Tori I'm glad you posted, I've missed you. Do you still sneeze when you feel sick? I thought that was funny during your previous pregnancies. Hope you're doing well otherwise.
