ZOFRAN!! I feel like a pill junky. I've never taken any medicine during any of my prior pregnancies but this time I was willing to give something a try. One of the reasons I felt I could get through this was because my younger sister had said to me that her Dr told her there should be no reason for me to suffer this time because they have medicines now.
So, I have been taking the B6 and 1/2 unisom since month 2. It helps me sleep at night and as I found out from missing a day it seems to help with the throwing up but not so much the nausea. Then around month 5 I began taking Zantac for heartburn. I've never taken anything but Tums before and I have to say this is a lifesaver. At least if I'm sick there isn't that burning acidy feeling.
I was also given a dose of Phenegran around month 5, which knocked me out completely and Zofran which gave me a terrible headache. Neither seemed to help with the nauseau so I gave up. But recently the Dr suggested I take 2 Zofran at bedtime so I can wake up feeling better. So a few days ago, I gave it a shot and I think we have a winner.!!! My nauseau has definately lightened up. I'd say I'm at 80% right now and that's enough for me to spend an entire day out with the kids. I'm so excited. When I told Marc I felt like I was taking so many pills I hoped the baby wouldn't come out with 2 heads or something, he said, "Well, 2 heads are better than one!"

So glad to hear that you found something to help, too bad it wasn't a little sooner. It was great to have your kids in primary today.
That's great!!! I'm so glad you're feeling better. Of course it would have been nice to discover this a few months ago, hu? The timing couldn't be better though, with school out and the kids home! kelli
Well, Zack and Wheezy would agree wtih Marc (from Dragon Tales). Glad you have found something to help you feel better. ANd eat, eat, eat and that should help, too.
I'm so happy for you! Here's to a great 43 days left!
