We survived a week with only one car. It actually worked out great for me because for the first time ever I wasn't required to actually get up and get the kids ready for school. Marc woke up them as he usually does, he made sure they were fed and he even attempted to do hair. I was a little sceptical on the hair issue so I did get up for the last 10 minutes to fix some hair.
I've been complaining to Marc that a few of my friends (who aren't even pregnant or sick) are spoiled by their husbands who let them stay in bed in the morning and get the kids off to school. As much as I would hint at this it never sunk in to Marc nor was it really possible because he leaves for work at 7.40am and they don't leave till 8:15am. But this week was different because he needed the car, so he got them ready AND drove the carpool. He even took his lunch between 2 and 3 pm so he could pick them up. Yay, for me! He's a great hubby and I love him.

That indeed is a great husband.
Go Marc! That's ambitious, these Collings guys are pretty cool.

We were a one car family for so many years that I still sometimes get emotional because I'm so grateful to have my own van now. You have such a great attitude about it. And Yay Marc!
