Brinlee's Baptism

Brinlee was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints last Saturday. She was very excited. Within days of moving in the Stake Primary President visited us and gave Brinlee a packet titled 'Eight is Great'. Every night for the 8 days leading up to her baptism she did a little activity to prepare herself for baptism. We made prayer pretzels, had white cupcakes with chocolate frosting to represent repentance, put coins on wet paper towels to bear others burdens and lots of other cool things.

We were also visited by the Ward Primary President who brought Brinlee a beautiful white towel with her name embroidered on it for when she came out of the water. She also brought a leather journal for her to record her day in. The ward had two dresses for her to choose from that she could wear to be baptized in. One was a plain lacy dress and the other was more of a 'pioneer' looking dress. Brinlee immediately chose that one and said...I like this one because I will look like a maid.

We had lots of family that came to support Brinlee. And they were very happy that they didn't have to drive the long distance to Pocatello. This is my sisters family...minus one who comes home from his mission in about 4 weeks. Wahoo!

Me and Mum

My sister Christina and Kenadee. We always say Kenadee is a mini Christina.
My parents sitting with Caity and Mailee (and the back of Adam).
Sandi and Kenney with Marcs parents.

Looks like such a nice day. Wow, your stake and ward primary presidency sound really cool. I love the cute dress. It looks like your house is so nice and comfortable. We're so sorry we weren't able to make it. We'll see you on Saturday! Well, me and Conner will.
